Paola graduated in Economics at the University of Pisa and stared her career as an auditor with PwC. In 2001, she joined the Oil & Gas Segment of General Electric (now merged with Baker Hughes) where she covered several roles in Finance, as Deputy and Business Controller, CFO of the Services division and M&A Director. She also served several General Electric and Baked Hughes entities in Italy as Board member.
She is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor in Italy, and since 2020 has served Previndai - Fondo Pensione as Chair and member of the Board of Statutory Auditors.
Paola is married to Lapo and they have two boys, Filippo and Francesco. She loves travelling and reading. She is very passionate about education and has served pro bono the board of the International School of Florence as Treasurer and Director for over 6 years.
